The UWF West Campus trails are a nice set of trails that are close by if you live in Pensacola. There are some hilly areas that are well suited for mountain bikes. This trail is a multi-use trail and you may encounter hikers, bikers and / or horses. Please watch your step if you walk or run due to many areas of tree roots across the trail. Also keep in mind if you visit the trail shortly after a rainstorm, you may encounter a few areas where there is ankle deep water to go through for a short distance.
Directions To Trailhead
The road to the trailhead (Pate St.) is located off Ten Mile Rd., a few blocks east from the Chemstrand Rd./ Ten Mile Rd. intersection. When you turn onto Pate St., you will see signage stating that it is a private access road, official business only. The entrance to the dirt parking lot will be on your right hand side as you continue to drive North.
