The Tarkiln Bayou State Park offers three different trails.  The Tarkiln Bayou Trail is the shortest of the three trails.  This trail meanders through the forest with a combination of sidewalks and boardwalks and ends with a nice view of Tarkiln Bayou.  At the trailhead you will find a restroom, a couple of picnic tables, and a pay box(honor system).  Leashed dogs are allowed on the trail, but not on the beach.

The road to the trailhead (Bauer Rd) is located between Lillian Highway (US 98) and Sorrento Rd., west of Blue Angel Parkway.
