The Pensacola Naval Air Station Historical Trail is an official trail of the Boy Scouts of America. The trail passes many historical landmarks on the Navy base. However, since this is an active base, it may be required that you have an active military member in your group. It is recommended that you contact the base first to make sure you will be able to do this hike, as you could be denied access at the base gate. Also, the trail as mapped out by the boy scouts now leads into some off limit areas on the base. The map shown above bypasses these areas, with the start and finish of the hike at the Pensacola Lighthouse.
Directions To Trailhead
Enter the navy base at the main entrance on S. Navy Boulevard. Continue onto Duncan Road past the golf course. Turn right onto Taylor Road. Stay to the right as you merge onto S. Blue Angel Parkway. After passing the museum on your right, the parking lot for the lighthouse will be on the left.
