This old brick highway follows US 90 on the east end of Milton, FL. The highway originally opened in 1921, but now is limited to non-motorized traffic. There are patches of shade along the highway, but the hike is mostly without shade.
Directions To Trailhead
To reach the West Trailhead, follow I-10 East from Pensacola to Milton. Take exit 28 toward Milton. Turn left and follow CR-89 (Ward Basin Road) for 3 miles. Continue straight and cross US-90 onto Dale Street. At curve to the right is the beginning of the Old Brick Highway.
