The Juniper Creek Trail is part of the Florida Trail, which is a National Trail that runs from the west end of the Panhandle down to South Florida. This section of the trail parallels Juniper Creek. It is a dirt trail with a few small hill sections. The trail also offers a shelter with a fire ring near the North Trailhead.
Directions To Trailhead
To reach the North Trailhead, travel North from Milton on Munson Hwy (CR 191). Travel a little over 11 miles and turn right onto Red Rock Road. Arrive at the parking lot in about 3.5 miles. You will have to hike East about 0.3 miles to arrive at trailhead.
To reach the South Trailhead, travel on I-10 towards Milton. Take exit 31 for FL-87. Head North for 1 mile to US 90 and turn right. Travel east a little over 5.5 miles and turn left on Deaton Bridge Road. The two parking lots are about 3.5 miles down the road.
